Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need to pay a security deposit?

    No, as part of our commitment to safeguarding our rental, we've partnered with Know Your Guest by SUPERHOG, a leading vacation rental guest-screening provider. They will reach out to you via email to verify your identity and offer a damage waiver, eliminating the need for us to request a large security deposit.


    Guest who do not complete the verification process will need to pay a security despoist one week before arrival of £1,500.

  • How far from the airport are you?

    We are equidistant from Alicante Airport and Valencia Airport. The transfer time takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

  • Do I need to hire a car?

    Our villa is situated on Montgo, approximately a 10-minute drive from local amenities and supermarkets. While taxis are available, we highly recommend having a car for convenience.

  • Is there a minimum age to book the villa?

    Yes, the lead guest must be aged 25 years or older. 


  • Can I hire sports equipment hire?

    Yes, upon booking, a £50 Refundable Damage Deposit is required for the use of all sports equipment, including padel bats, tennis rackets, table tennis rackets, pool table balls and cues, darts, and exercise equipment. This deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days of your departure, provided that all sports equipment is returned in good condition.


    Please note we do not hire golf clubs or bikes.

  • Do you have parking onsite?

    Yes, our gated parking area comfortably accommodates up to five cars.

  • Do you have an electric car charging point

    Yes we have an eletric car charing point. Contact us to find out more and the additional costs that apply.

  • Are there any supermarkets within walking distance?

    The nearest supermarket, La Ermita, is just a 3-minute drive or a 20-minute walk away. This independent supermarket is open seven days a week.

    Mercadona - A popular Spanish supermarket chain offering a wide range of groceries and household items. Online deliveries can be arranged direct to the villa, via their app.

    Consum - Another well-known supermarket chain in Spain, providing a variety of products including fresh produce, meats, and bakery items.

    Masymas - A supermarket chain offering a selection of groceries, fresh produce, and household essentials.

    Aldi - A discount supermarket chain with a range of products including groceries, fresh produce, and household goods.

    Lidl - Another discount supermarket chain offering a variety of products including groceries, fresh produce, and bakery items.

    Overseas - An English supermarket stocking traditional English products.

  • Is there a transfer service from the airport the the villa?

    We do not offer a transfer serivice but you can book one directly with Beniconnect.

  • Are the pool and spa whirlpool heated?

    No.

  • Are dogs allowed?

    No, sorry.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Upon booking, a non-refundable deposit of 15% of the total cost is required to secure your reservation (or £500, whichever is greater). The remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to your arrival.


    In the event of a booking error, you have a 48-hour window to cancel free of charge, and all funds will be refunded.

  • Do guests need to check in?

    Yes,  in compliance with Spanish law, we are required to report all occupants to the local police station on the day of your arrival. To facilitate this process, guests will receive an invitation to complete our Check-in process through an app called Check-in Scan a minimum of seven days prior to your stay. Please provide the identity details of all guests aged 14 or older who will be staying at the property.

  • Do you have baby equipment?

    Yes, we offer two travel cots and one highchair. Please inform us in advance if you would like to borrow one, free of charge.

  • Do we need to bring towels?

    No, your stay includes one bath sheet, one hand towel, and one beach towel per person.

  • How often is the bed linen changed?

    We replace the bed linen every seven days. For two-week bookings, you will receive a complimentary bed change on the seventh day.


    For shorter stays, should you require a mid-stay bed linen change, you can request this at the time of booking. Please note that this incurs an additional fee of £200.

  • Are there any prohibited activities?

    Yes, parties or events in the rented accommodation are strictly prohibited without the express written permission of the owner. Please note that our property is not suitable for hen/stag parties. 


    The use of fireworks is prohibited by law.


    Furthermore, guests are not permitted to play music outside or create excessive noise after 10:30 pm.

  • Is the villa suitable for wheelchair users?

    Due to our location on the hillside of the Montgo, parts of the accommodation are only accessible via steps and there are some narrow doorways. Unfortunately this will restrict access for people with mobility issues or those that use a wheelchair. We are continuing to look at ways to improve our accessibility.   

  • How does your focus on sustainability enhance the guest experience and benefit the local community in Javea?
