Its beautiful historic cathedral, attractive shopping streets and squares make it well worth visiting.

This holiday home is in a quiet location in the seaside resort of Can Picafort. The resort is in the Alcúdia area. The home is around 300 metres from the Playa de Muro beach. The terraced, village house is furnished in a typical homely Spanish style. The living/dining room leads out to a small patio.
Can Picafort is in Alcúdia Bay and has fine sandy beaches. There is something for everyone here. You can enjoy a wide variety of water sports and other leisure activities.

Alcúdia is one of the longest established tourist destinations on the island. Its delightful sandy beach is only 8 km away. The SAlbufera National Park, with an area of 1708 hectares, is not far from the holiday home. The City of Palma de Majorca is 62 km away and is easily reached. Its magnificent, historic cathedral and attractive shopping streets and squares are well worth visiting.

The qualities of villa Son Serra become apparent once you pass through the entrance gates, less than 1 km from the little town of Búger. This newly refurbished, comfortable and well equipped accommodation, offers unsurpassed value for couples or families! Tastefully furnished in attractive Mallorcan style, this villa has been brought up to date by the addition of modern kitchen and bathroom fittings. But, the 'pièce de resistance' for those who enjoy cooking over charcoal, a whole room is devoted to a large barbecue and traditional wood oven, whose oversized French doors open out to the garden.

A covered walkway connects the barbecue room to the immaculate L shaped kitchen/dining room. Nearby, a shady corner of the garden with table and chairs, provides an attractive dining spot. The comfortable living room is simply, but well furnished with leather club chairs and a squashy sofa arranged around a traditional wood burning stove and a prettily dressed table and chairs provide an alternative dining area. French doors open to the front terrace. An additional aid to sleeping, and worthy of note, are the mosquito nets at windows throughout the villa.

At first floor level, a second small sitting room has just stunning views over the tree tops towards the picturesque hill top town of Campanet and the Sierra Tramuntana Mountains beyond. A balcony also overlooks the pool and garden where a Mallorquin archway swathed with vines divides the garden flower beds from the small orchard area. Here, orange, almond and fig trees grow and a gateway opens to a further 12,000 hectares of orchards where you are welcome to wander. The raised pool is gated (deep: 1.10m. - 2.00m.)

The beaches at Puerto Pollenca, Alcudia and Cala San Vicent are 20 mins away by car, and excellent walking can be enjoyed both in the immediate area and the foothills of the Tramuntana Mountains, just 15 mins drive away. There is easy access to Palma, by car or by train from the larger towns of Sa Pobla or Inca, neither more than a 10 mins car journey.
Son Serra is in an excellent position to explore the island from a quiet country location, or of course just to enjoy a quiet country location!

This apartment is on Port de Pollenca's attractive boulevard. The town is on the north coast of Majorca. The apartment is on the second floor and enjoys beautiful views of the sea. It is just 30 metres from the beach and the Bahia de Pollenca, the island's smallest and most beautiful bay. The apartment is simply and comfortably furnished. The private terrace is 10m2 and enjoys views of the sea and the harbour. You reach the 40m2 roof terrace by steep stairs in the hall. The terrace enjoys splendid views of the surrounding area and you can enjoy a BBQ there.
The holiday home is within easy walking distance of Port de Pollenca with its attractive beaches and good restaurants.
You can enjoy plenty of excursions in the area. There are boat trips along the coast and to the Formentor Peninsula where you can enjoy beautiful, white sandy beaches. The area is excellent for all kinds of sports and water sports. The nine-hole Pollenca Golf Club is twelve kilometres away. You can also visit the heart of Pollenca with its medieval village centre, traditional squares, colourful markets and harbour. Palma de Mallorca, the island's capital, is sixty kilometres away.

Boats leave Port de Pollença for the resort of Formentor where you can enjoy splendid, white sandy beaches. The apartment is simple and comfortably furnished. There is a 30 m2 private terrace with a good sea view.

The surrounding area is excellent for golfers. The Golf Pollença nine-hole course is 8 km away. The medieval village of Pollença with its picturesque village centre, traditional squares, colourful markets and old harbour is further inland. This mellow stone farmhouse is situated in rural countryside a short stroll from Campanets famous caves and just 5 min. drive from the village itself. To the rear of the farmhouse, the shady wisteria covered patio is a great spot for a long lazy lunch and is bordered by lawned gardens and further trees and shrubs. Close at hand, at the far end of the farmhouse is the covered barbecue area. To the other side, steps lead up to a raised 4 metre diameter pool and from the elevated terrace here, the tranquil rural views are truly captivating. From the gardens a gate leads out past the dovecote onto the owners land, which extends some 100-150m. down to the dried up riverbed of the Torrente San Miguel. With a little exploring youll soon find the orange and lemon groves and stands of bamboo, as well as pomegranate, fig and even one or two walnut trees. Inside the farmhouse, the bucolic ambience is accentuated with beamed ceilings, walls of natural stone and blue woven curtains in the windows.
