If you are looking for sun, tranquillity, space and beautiful views at only 15 minutes drive from the sea, Las Casillas is the place to be. In the outskirts of the Sierra Nevada, between Velez-Málaga and Arenas, at ca. 30 minutes from the airport of Málaga, this brand new, very comfortable luxury villa (200 m2) with private swimming pool. The different levels in the roof exude a typical Mauresque style. Outside, you will see terraces galore, and around the pool located 1.20m lower there is ample room for sunbathing on the sun-loungers. There is an outside shower at the poolhouse. There is a special barbecue terrace which can also be used as an outdoors open fire on cooler nights. Around the terraces, the 70 m long and beautifully illuminated balustrade is a lovely place to hang out and look at the sea over the valley. There is a large drive at the back where you can easily park three cars.

In Velez-Málaga (3 km) you will find supermarkets, restaurants, a pharmacy and everything you need for a carefree holiday. The distance to the sea is approx. 7 km, in Torre del Mar there is a pretty sandy beach a pleasant boulevard and a wide offer of shops, terraces and restaurants. The famous cities of Granada with the world famous Alhambra, and Córdoba are ideal day trip destinations (respectively 2 and 3 hours drive). Near Granada you can ski all year round in the Sierra Nevada, and a varied holiday with sun and snow is also a possibility! Málaga is 30 minutes away and is a great shopping city with a beautiful old centre and a medieval castle for example.

ATTENTION: the last 4 km on the way to the house, you will drive over a sandy road with a few steeper passages. This road is easy to drive, but you should be careful, especially at night. Therefore the road is suitable for persons with enough driving experience. Stay in first gear and you will have no problems. A 4 wheel drive is recommended.
The caretaker will drive in front of you the first time.

Traditional detached, country house (100m2) with private swimming pool. Situated between Periana and Riogordo close to the La Viñuela lake in the Axarquía area. The house is cosy, well decorated in warm colours and with interior details such as rustic wooden furniture. Beautiful views over olive-, orange and hazelnuts trees from the terrace and swimming pool. The cottage is situated on 40.000 m2 of private land! Cortijo Tio José is situated approx. 6km from Riogordo, 7km from Periana and only 3km from Mondrón with its shops and bars.
Worthwhile visiting are lovely white villages as Competa and Frigiliana and of course cities as Malaga and Granada. The still not very crowded beaches of the Costa Tropical are also within short reach. In short, an ideal place for a holiday!

Beautiful 250-year-old authentic farm (around 240 m2), completely restored. This house with character, consisting of a large upper apartment and a separate guestroom at garden level, is suitable for 9 persons. This holiday house is on a quiet road between the towns of Torrox and Frigiliana, which is also called the most beautiful white town of Spain! With the exception of the guest room, the holiday house is entirely at ground level; one bedroom has air conditioning, a telephone connection and its own en-suite bathroom. The entire house is warm and cosy in the winter, due to the central heating.

You will have a splendid view of the sea - 3.5 km from the farm, as the crow flies - from all corners of the house, and from the 3000 m2 lot around it. There is more than enough to do in the immediate area, including horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking directly from the house. In addition, 3 km away there is a number of nice restaurants located in the country, and you can go to Frigiliana, 3 km away, to run errands or visit more restaurants. A magnificent villa in a unique location directly on the lake; you can walk from the terraces and from the garden straight onto the La Cala de Mijas beach! The large garden is totally fenced off and offers complete privacy. The house is in the shape of a horseshoe around a patio where you can sit nicely protected from the wind and in the shade; even in the winter, it is often pleasantly warm. The inside of the villa is especially spacious and includes a living room, a separate dining room and a winter room with a lounge-type image. Here, you can enjoy a glass of wine and totally relax on the large cushions with your favourite music and view of the lake in the background.
Interesting cities in the surrounding areas worthy of visiting (for the day) are Ronda with its spectacular bridge over the gorge, Granada with the world famous Alhambra, Seville, Malaga, the convivial harbour city and Marbella where you can spot the jet-set!

In case you would like to spend your vacation with more people, you can rent house La Estrella (ES-29649-02) for 5 people additionally. This house is situated at the beach in La Cala de Mijas, only one street appart. It takes you only one minute to go from your garden to the beach. Both houses together offer room for 20 people.

If you prefer to arrive or depart outside of the presented times, the caretaker of the house has the right to charge you 75 euros for this extra service.
For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters.
