Traditional detached, country house with private swimming pool. Situated between Periana and Riogordo close to the La Viñuela lake in the Axarquía area. The house is cosy, well decorated in warm colours and with interior details such as rustic wooden furniture. Beautiful views over olive-, orange and hazelnuts trees from the terrace and swimming pool. The cottage is situated on 40.000 m2 of private land! Cortijo Tio José is situated approx. 6km from Riogordo, 7km from Periana and only 3km from Mondrón with its shops and bars.
Worthwhile visiting are lovely white villages as Competa and Frigiliana and of course cities as Malaga and Granada. The still not very crowded beaches of the Costa Tropical are also within short reach. In short, an ideal place for a holiday!

This detached villa with swimming pool is situated on a 1,5 hectare private property, in the hills of the white Mountain village Compete. From the partly covered terrace, you have a splendid view over the hilly valley direction the sea (14km), which is reachable via a beautiful road. Along the coast lie the pleasant villages such as Torrox Costa and Nerja, where you can drive with a donkey through the town. Competa (4km) is a very authentic town, situated between the Tajeda mountains. You eat wonderfully here, in one of the many restaurants! Although it is very peaceful situated between the hills, bigger towns like Malaga and Granada can be visited easily. The airport of Malaga is within approximately 1 hours drive.

El Molino de Guaro (280m2) is a 200 year old mill house exquisitely restored in 2001 to a high standard as a home of four bedrooms (of which the bedroom on the second floor has no door) and four bathrooms. With a large pool and numerous patios, it is an ideal base for a family holiday. Situated in a valley at the foot of mountains on the edge of the beautiful 'pueblo blanco' of Guaro, it will also suit those looking for a hiking holiday in rural Spain. Only 3km. away, is the attractive market town of Periana, an unspoilt Andalucian town whose small shops and facilities should meet most needs of holidaymakers, including bars, small supermarkets, butchers, pharmacies and dentists. To the south, the coast can be reached in a bout 25 minutes (passing Lake Viñuela on the way), with Nerja some 15 minutes further East. Granada and the Sierra Nevada are about an hour to the north-east. Being in the country, a holiday based at El Molino will bring an increasingly rare glimpse of traditional Spanish rural life. The goat herd of the neighbouring farm is taken out to pasture past the house daily, the field next door is filled with ancient olive trees, and the night sky is filled with an array of stars we normally miss.

This pleasant holiday home with private swimming pool and a large terrace, at an altitude of 400m, is located in Alcaucin, in the province of Málaga. The holiday home is spacious and has all modern comfort. You can enjoy tranquillity and privacy here. The house has an American kitchen and there is a barbecue near the pool. The access to the private swimming pool and the terrace is via stairs. You can enjoy the views of the Sierra Tejeda (2700 m) from the terraces. You will find lots of nature around the holiday home and it is perfect for walking. The holiday home is located at approx. 30 km from various beaches, sports activities, fishing spots and at a shorter distance you can visit small villages and nature parks inland. The cities Vélez-Málage and Torre del Mar are ca. 20 km away. In the proximity of the holiday home you will find the large lake La Viñuela (4 km). In winter you can go to the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada at ca. 60 km.

Detached villa with a private pool in the mountainvillage Canillas de Aceituno in the Axarquia, 30km East form Málaga. The villa is surrounded by various terraces and veranda's so you are able to enjoy the sun, shadows and the beautiful countryside. Málaga, Picasso's city, is easily accessible from the villa and definitely worth a visit. The beach is 20km from the villa and Viñuela's lake is just a 10min. drive. The 18-holes golfcourse is just 20km from the villa and the city of Granada with it's famous Alhambra is just an 1 hours drive. The Sierra Nevada is 1 - 1,5 hours drive from the villa.

There is a garden to the rear with a childrens swing and at the front there is a swimming pool, surrounded by a fence with a gate, and landscaped areas. It also offers a covered porch at the entrance with sun loungers for enjoying the beautiful views of the sea and mountains. The holiday house is surrounded by a Nature Reserve and Game Preserve. It is very close to the Cañuelo natural beach, Herradura village and some 15km from Nerja.

This villa is full of atmosphere and has a private swimming pool. It is in the town of Elviria which is a ten minute drive to the east of the city of Marbella. There are beautiful wide beaches very near Elviria, the nearest is a ten minute walk from the villa. This comfortable holiday home has a number of terraces. It has been furnished with great care and has a modern interior. The North African coast is visible in clear weather from the roof terrace. The terrace is reached from outside the villa.
The villa is in a residential area with shared facilities for children. These include a communal swimming pool with a children's area, a picnic area, paddle alley and playgrounds. One playground is opposite the holiday home. There are two supermarkets in the neighbourhood. You can enjoy water sports in the surrounding area. Golfers will enjoy themselves here too. The Santa Maria Golf Club, Clara Golf Club and Marbella Golf Country Club are all nearby. Marbella with its lively city centre, restaurants and bars is well worth a visit. You can be in the elegant town of Puerto Banus in fifteen minutes by car. Malaga, the birthplace of Picasso is thirty minutes away by car.

If you are looking for sun, tranquillity, space and beautiful views at only 15 minutes drive from the sea, Las Casillas is the place to be. In the outskirts of the Sierra Nevada, between Velez-Málaga and Arenas, at ca. 30 minutes from the airport of Málaga, this brand new, very comfortable luxury villa with private swimming pool. The different levels in the roof exude a typical Mauresque style. Outside, you will see terraces galore, and around the pool located 1.20m lower there is ample room for sunbathing on the sun-loungers. There is an outside shower at the poolhouse. There is a special barbecue terrace which can also be used as an outdoors open fire on cooler nights. Around the terraces, the 70 m long and beautifully illuminated balustrade is a lovely place to hang out and look at the sea over the valley. There is a large drive at the back where you can easily park three cars.

In Velez-Málaga (3 km) you will find supermarkets, restaurants, a pharmacy and everything you need for a carefree holiday. The distance to the sea is approx. 7 km, in Torre del Mar there is a pretty sandy beach a pleasant boulevard and a wide offer of shops, terraces and restaurants. The famous cities of Granada with the world famous Alhambra, and Córdoba are ideal day trip destinations (respectively 2 and 3 hours drive). Near Granada you can ski all year round in the Sierra Nevada, and a varied holiday with sun and snow is also a possibility! Málaga is 30 minutes away and is a great shopping city with a beautiful old centre and a medieval castle for example.

ATTENTION: the last 4 km on the way to the house, you will drive over a sandy road with a few steeper passages. This road is easy to drive, but you should be careful, especially at night. Therefore the road is suitable for persons with enough driving experience. Stay in first gear and you will have no problems. A 4 wheel drive is recommended.
The caretaker will drive in front of you the first time.
