This charming detached house is located in the peaceful Residencial Begur urbanisation. It is simple but provides all necessary facilities. The locality of Esclanyà is easily accessed by a rural path that starts a few meters from the house. In Esclanyà, a small village that forms part of the municipal district of Begur, is a pleasant Catalan restaurant. The center of Begur and the various beaches are about 3 kms away. The house has a spacious garden and 2 grassed areas where children can play in all tranquillity and security. From the living room there is direct access to the porch where pleasant views over the region of the Bajo Ampurdán can be enjoyed.
Access the house you have to go through 1 km of unpaved road.

This independent villa with its own private pool has more than 700 years of history, but was totally renovated in May 2007, to provide high quality accommodation for between 2 to 6 people. It is situated in the village of Mata, only at 2 km. from Banyoles lake, 15 km. from Girona city, 25 km. from Girona Airport, 35 km. from the Costa Brava beaches and 115 km. from Barcelona. In the heart of the Pla de l'Estany, this is a privileged place, situated as it is, between the sea and the mountains.

La Cabanya has 2 bedrooms, each with private bathroom and allergy-free mattresses, a fully equipped kitchen, an attic, a living room with Satellite television, DVD with Home cinema and fireplace, free wifi area inside the house, air-conditioning and central heating. Outside, the private garden has barbecue and private swimming pool with saline treatment and totally automated.
La Cabanya is ideal for couples or with the whole family, and the whole house can be rented for groups of between 2 to 6 persons.


The ideal situation of the house allows you to do a great variety of routes on foot or by bike around Banyoles lake, as well as different excursions around Girona's province since the house is situated in the middle of Girona's province.

Platja de Pals is located on the Costa Brava and belongs to the prettiest part of the Costa Brava coast; a part which has not yet been touched by mass tourism. The old Pals - which lies on the hill - is one of the famous historical places of the Costa Brava with its medieval centre. You will find nice regional restaurants in Pals.

The beach of Pals, Platja de Pals, has become a beach resort in the meantime and actually is the modern centre of Pals. Platja de Pals has many facilities like shops, restaurants and supermarkets. It is directly located on a long and extended sandy beach, with fine sand and clear blue water. Vegetation mainly consists of parasol pines. Platja de Pals mainly consists of low-rise buildings with residences of 2 or 3 floors, located around the golf courses, which have shaped the resort.

The region offers enough possibilities from golf to water sports, walking to cycling and water parks for the kids. You can see the Islas Medes from the beach, with excursions being organised to visit these islands. Culture lovers can visit the Dalí museum in Figueras or the city of Girona with its old centre. The metropolis of Barcelona is approx, 1.5 hour's drive away. In short: Platja de Pals is perfectly suitable for families with children, away from the mass tourism of the Costa Brava. Wonderful holiday villa (65m2) with its own private swimming pool situated directly at the channel in Empuria Brava. The distance to the beach is 1100m. This detached villa is newly built. Every bedroom has a private bathroom. Empuria Brava is known for its many idyllic canals and the big marinas. In the centre of Empuria Brava is a shopping centre with diverse shops, banks, doctor and restaurants. The surrounding is excellent for diverse sports activities, like watersports, outdoor and cultural trips to e.g. Rosas, Figueres and Girona and naturally the town Barcelona.

Linked holiday house in Llafranc with a communal swimming pool and approx. 500 m. from the beach. The house is situated in a small complex and the swimming pool is shared with 7 other houses. The spa Calella de Palafrugell is known for keeping its antique charm protected, notwithstanding all changes and modernising. It was earlier a fishermens town, and now the seafoods are enjoyed by the visitors, and is the basis for the appreciated local gastronomy. In Calella and Llafranc there are different types of water sports like; sailing, windsurfing and kayaking. In the mountains of Calella lies a beautiful botanical garden, around a small castle where an important jazz-festival is held every summer (dance and other music).

Playa de Pals lies 43 km. east of Girona. This lovely holiday house, of the semi detachted type, covers the ground floor as well as the 1st floor (approx. 100 m). The interior is very complete and modern. You will have access to a small garden with terrace with garden furniture and a balcony on the 1st floor. The houses are spread throughout a large piece of land and therefore can be some what further away from the swimming pool, however 200 m. maximum. Considering the fact that the holiday houses belong to different owners, the interior can vary a bit amongst each other. The photo's are therefore example photo's.

Specifics:
One bedroom with air conditioning. First bedlinnen is included. If you would like to have a clean change during your stay, you will pay € 10 per person. The costs for electricity are only to be paid if you use the heating.

The villa is located in a quiet urban area and in very comfortably furnished and equipped with all facilities. Only a few minutes away by car you will find the beaches of Sa Riera and Pals, and the centre of Begur is not far away from the villa. The medival village of Pals, the beach at Aiguablava and the shopping centre of Palafrugell are only a 5 minute drive away. Distance to Barcelona approx. 140 km. The villa is accessible via a stairway. The villa is equipped with its own driveway and a garage where you can park your car.
