Altos de la Bahia is a quiet, residential area between Torrevieja and the town of La Mata. Torrevieja is a pleasant seaside resort. It has an attractive boulevard with many pavement cafes and restaurants. They are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the delightful sea views. There is a good evening market and you can enjoy a walk along the pier. Boat trips to the island of Tabarca leave from the harbour. There are numerous golf courses in the surrounding area. You have quick and easy access to the beach and the sea from the holiday home. There are a number of interesting places to visit in the area. These include the island of Tabarca and the towns of Alicante and Murcia.

Modern apartment(70m2) situated on the Las Ramblas Golf Course along the 15th and 18th hole. The partment overlooks a nature area behind the hills and sea. Guests in Viento Ramblas receive an interesting discount on the golf-fees. On the resort is a common swimming pool (5x20x2m.) and all facilities for daily shopping can be found in "La Fuente" (1,5km.). For a day at the sea you only have to drive 3km. te to beautiful white sand beaches at among others Cabo Roig. Shopping centre and many lovely restaurants are close in the area. Bigger cities like Alicante, Orihuela, Murcia, Torrevieja (7 Km) and Cartagena can be easily visited as a day trip, as well as the peaceful Spanish hinterland of the Costa Blanca with its typical villages, delicious foods and friendly inhabitants. Within only several km. from Las Ramblas you will still find 2 18 holes golfcourses, to know Campoamor and Villamartin, so that you can enjoy yourself completely on a sports level!

Torrevieja is around 5 minutes away by car. Youll find many restaurants, pavement cafes and a charming boulevard there. There are a number of golf courses in the surrounding area. Orihuela-Costa lies 10 km. south of Torrevieja. Torrevieja means 'the old tower'. Torrevieja lies near the sea and is surrounded by two large natural salt lake, which are the largest of Europe. These lakes a particular popular with people with hart problems, rheumatism, arthritis or asthmatic conditions. The warm climate softens the symptoms, through which one finds life in this part of Spain a benefaction. This region is known as one of the most beautiful areas of the Costa Blanca due to the crystal clear water and the gorgeous sandy beaches which mostly lie in bays. This terraced house with large rooftop terrace (48 m) with permanent barbeque is situated in the gulf urbanization Villa Martin. A small garden with garden furniture is in front of the house.

Characteristics:
The swimming pool can be closed between November and April due to maintenance. You can rent a camping bed or wooden bedstead. A camping bed costs 20 per week and a wooden bedstead costs 26 per week. You can also rent a high chair for 14 per week, a buggy (only vertical) for 14 per week, a buggy (from 3 months) for 20 per week and a stair gate for 20 per week. You only have to drive three kilometres to the sandy beach at Orihuela Costa for a wonderful day at the sea. 'La Ruina' (80m2) is part of the 'Refugio Marnes'-estate, with a large communal swimmingpool. It is a renovated sheep-pen and has kept its very ancient materials and elements despite the modern refurnishing of the house. La Ruina is a characteristic house for 4 persons, accessible with a steep donkey-path, about 150 meters from the central parking-lot. The hamlet Marnes, to which the house belongs, is located at about 500 meters height in a small mountain-area, the Siërra de Bernia, in the hinterland of Costa Blanca close to Benissa.

From the paved road, a sand path of about 300m. leads to the finca (=property). Here you will find two houses: the main house where the owners live, and 'La Ruina'.
On the property you will find the typical algarrobo, olive -and almond trees. La Ruina finds itself on 19 hectare of untouched nature land. So you are not renting a house, but "your own finca"!
